Dallas Urban Debate is a dynamic organization that teaches our inner city youth how to convey their thoughts.  Many brilliant minds exist in Dallas ISD schools, but they often go unnoticed. However, DUDA is a catalyst that engages these young intellectuals, creating an apparatus that allows students to share, contest, and internalize varying ideas and points of view.

Participating in High School Debate was an invaluable experience. The activity demands the same critical thinking skills essential to the practice of law. Understanding the nuances of a good argument has helped me in law school classes,  law school activities like moot court, and will continue to help me in the future as a litigator.
